In the winter in the biggest interconnected ski area - SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. Test out the perfect pistes where the ski bus stop and the cross-country slope are right next to the building. Tobogganing,ice-skating and snow-shoe hiking.
The Wilder Kaiser ski region in Tyrol includes the main range in SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, Austria‘s biggest ski area in the northern Kitzbühler Alps. The Kaiser towns of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll are ideally connected via their cable cars. This means you can head out on your own ski safaris, from the Brandstadl cable car in Scheffau to Ellmau’s Hartkaiser for instance, or to the Hohe Salve to Söll, and via Brixen to Westendorf.
From Going you can access the SkiWelt via the Astberg ski lift. 91 cable cars and state-of-the-art ski lifts connect 279 kilometres of pistes with the perfectly prepared, broad slopes where you can enjoy carving, while over 70 alpine inns tempt you in for refreshments. 210 kilometres of pistes can be provided with snow-cover, which means snow-assured skiing is guaranteed throughout the season. Skiing on the Wilder Kaiser – that’s the pinnacle!
